Syringocystadenoma papilliferum (SCAP), tubular apocrine adenoma (TAA), and eccrine nevus are rare benign sweat gland tumors with varied clinical presentations but generally distinctive histomorphologic profiles. TAA and SCAP have been associated with other cutaneous hamartomas, most commonly with nevus sebaceus. Additionally, TAA and SCAP have uncommonly co-occurred in the same lesion. Endocrine mucin-producing sweat gland carcinoma (EMPSGC) is a rare, low-grade, cutaneous neoplasm that may be associated with invasive mucinous carcinoma. Tumors typically present as slow-growing, flesh-colored, nonspecific papules or nodules that favor the eyelids in older individuals. BACKGROUND: Carcinosarcoma is a biphasic tumor composed of malignant epithelial and mesenchymal elements. Although the tumors have been reported in different locations, they rarely occur in the skin and have not been reported in the skin of external genitalia.

Sweat gland carcinomas are rare skin tumors that typically occur in older patients. The spectrum of their clinical and pathologic features is broad, and many different types of sweat gland carcinomas have been described, ranging from fairly indolent to highly aggressive neoplasms. This study assessed whether greater skin conductance activity at the distal versus medial site (Scerbo, Freedman, Raine, Dawson, & Venables, 1992) is attributable to a greater number of active (open) sweat glands at the distal site. An 87-year-old woman presented with a rapidly growing tumour at the nasal side of the upper eyelid. The clinical diagnosis was basal cell carcinoma. During surgery, the impression of malignancy was accentuated by the finding that even the conjunctiva had been invaded. Histological examination revealed an eccrine acrospiroma with, indeed, many mitoses but, on the other hand, a completely benign aspect. Besides, there was no recurrence after 1 year.
