We report 6 cases of gamma delta T-cell lymphoma (GDTL) among 115 peripheral T-cell lymphomas over a 12-year period. All patients exhibited extranodal lymphomas, comprising 3 hepatosplenic, 1 cutaneous, 1 intestinal, and 1 thyroidal lymphoma. Despite therapies, all but 1 patient died of disease within 16 months of diagnosis. OBJECTIVE: To study the immunophenotype and differential diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL).
METHOD: Fifty six cases originally diagnosed as HL were re-evaluated according to lymphoma classification of WHO 2000 on paraffin sections using SP immunohistochemistry.
RESULTS: Among the 56 cases, 47 met the WHO criteria for HL, 8 were NHL and 1 metastatic tumor. OBJECTIVE: To explore the clinicopathologic features and diagnostic criteria of hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma (HSTCL).
METHODS: Three cases of HSTCL were searched for morphology, immunophenotypings, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) in situ hybridization and T-cell receptorgamma (TCRgamma) gene rearrangement.
RESULTS: In the bone marrow, the infiltrative pattern of tumour cells was interstitial and sinusoidal infiltration in one caseìwhile the other two cases showed diffuse infiltration. In the liver of one case and the spleen of another case, tumour cells respectively showed sinusoidal infiltration.
