Knowledge, Awareness, and Attitudes Toward Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcomas Among the General Population in Saudi Arabia: A Cross-Sectional Study.

Background: Bone and soft tissue sarcomas, while rare, making up less than 2% of adult cancers with an incidence below 5 per 100,000 annually, present a significant challenge due to their varied and often obscure pathology. Additionally, the absence of global sarcoma awareness contributes to delayed interventions, necessitating more-aggressive treatments and increasing mortality risks. Conversely, cancers such as breast and colon have seen improved outcomes through effective screening and early-management strategies. Methods: In this cross-sectional study, out of the total number of participan

What Are the Attitudes, Awareness Levels, and Practices of Bone Health Among Women Age 40 to 65 Years With Limited Income in China?

BACKGROUND: Osteoporosis can cause painful, disabling, fatal fractures and impose substantial socioeconomic burdens. Because menopause-related bone loss accelerates during midlife, women with limited income may have difficulty accessing screening, counseling, and bone-healthy nutrition before the first fragility fracture occurs. Assessing bone-health awareness and preventive practices in this group may help identify modifiable gaps and guide targeted prevention for low-income midlife and older women. QUESTIONS/PURPOSES: (1) What were the attitudes, awareness, and preventive practices regardin

Attitudes of specialist memory-clinic patients with early symptomatic Alzheimer's disease towards lecanemab: results from a multicenter survey in Europe.

Lecanemab approval in the European Union (EU) was granted after a delay. This delay resulted in concerns from many stakeholders, but attitudes of patients with early symptomatic Alzheimer's disease receiving specialist memory-clinic care remained insufficiently assessed. Therefore, we evaluated attitudes of specialist memory-clinic patients with early symptomatic Alzheimer's disease towards lecanemab in Europe. In this anonymous, international, multicentre, cross-sectional survey conducted from October 14, 2024 to February 18, 2025, a standardized, expert-developed questionnaire assessed attit

Knowledge, attitudes, practices, and future intentions to use intermittent preventive treatment with sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine among pregnant women in southern Ghana.

INTRODUCTION: Malaria in pregnancy is a significant public health concern in sub-Saharan Africa, affecting an estimated 32 million pregnant women annually. One of WHO’s recommendations for malaria prevention is the use of intermittent preventive treatment in pregnancy with sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (IPTp-SP). However, reports indicate that less than 100% of women in Ghana access IPTp service. This study explored knowledge, attitudes, uptake, and future intentions to take IPTp-SP among pregnant women in southern Ghana. METHODOLOGY: An ethnographic study design was used. Data was collected from
