Eight patients with unresectable adenocarcinoma of the bladder or urachus were treated with chemotherapy. Four had received cisplatin-based chemotherapy (CISCA), all 4 failed to respond. All 8 received intravenous and/or intra-arterial 5-fluorouracil, doxorubicin hydrochloride (Adriamycin), and mitomycin-C. Three of the 5 responding patients had short responses while 2 had achieved long-term control of disease. Vaginal clear cell carcinoma (CCC) is a rare malignant tumor in the pediatric population and may occur even in the absence of in utero exposure to diethylstilbestrol (DES). We report the case of an 11-year-old girl without DES exposure who presented with persistent foul-smelling vaginal discharge, abdominal pain, and weight loss. METHODS: The tumor was identified after the patient presented with progressive hearing loss 5 years after radiotherapy treatment for parotid mucoepidermoid carcinoma. A CT scan revealed a mass invading the middle ear and mastoid process. The diagnosis of osteosarcoma was confirmed by biopsy.

A 65-year-old male received the positive result of fecal occult blood. Colonoscopy was performed to reveal a tumor in the ascending colon. The result of biopsy was neuroendocrine carcinoma. Under the preoperative diagnosis of neuroendocrine carcinoma in the ascending colon, cT3N0M0, cStage Ⅱ, laparoscopic ileocecal resection with D3 lymph node dissection was performed.
