BACKGROUND: Iliopsoas tendinopathy is an established cause of persistent anterior groin pain after total hip arthroplasty (THA), with an incidence of 2% to 6%. Although frequently attributed to acetabular component malposition and anterior prominence, symptomatic iliopsoas irritation can also occur in cases with appropriately positioned implants.
