The vulvar cellular angiofibroma is a rare mesenchymal tumor. It can be located in many places, but it is more frequent in the vulvar area. It is characterized for being of superficial and slow-growth and for having low propensity of local recurrence. It was described in 1997 by Nucci and it had been reported 51 cases worldwide, from which 18 had vulvar location. This is the first case in Mexico City. It was found in a 36 years-old woman. Articles on laparoscopic approach to pelvic floor reconstruction continue to proliferate throughout the worldwide literature. Although procedures like laparoscopic Burch seem to be fading fast, other procedures like the laparoscopic paravaginal repair and sacral colpopexy seem to be more common and visible in the literature. This article reviews the pertinent anatomy, surgical procedures, and literature concerning the laparoscopic approach to pelvic floor reconstruction.

Vesicovaginal fistulas are among the most distressing complications of gynecologic and obstetric procedures. The risk of developing vesicovaginal fistula is more than 1% after radical surgery and radiotherapy for gynecologic malignancies. We performed a modified Fedele technique for laparoscopic creation of a neovagina by Vecchietti's method to treat vaginal aplasia in three patients with Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome. Three beads forming a triangle, anchored to a disposable syringe mould, were applied to the vaginal dimple and pulled upward by two polypropylene sutures, and passed through the potential neovaginal space created laparoscopically. For the purpose of evaluating the role and participation of the internist in the diagnosis of Epithelial Ovarian Cancer (EOC), 81 medical records belonging to patients with EOC, were analyzed.
