Primary adrenal insufficiency is the most frequent systemic disorder associated with calcification of auricular cartilage. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy have not been successful in treating patients with metastatic disease. The study of metabolism of muscle electrolyte in children with the salt-losing form of congenital adrenal hyperplasia reveals two types of alterations.
