The primary cerebral lymphoma (non Hodgkin lymphoma) is described as a tumor confined to the central nervous system. They are considered of very low frequency, less tha 1% of the primary tumors of the central nervous system. The up to date treatment is a combination of chemio and radio therapy in patients younger than sixty years old: After this age only radiotheraphy is recommended. The authors studied the clinical histories of 17 patients with AIDS who were hospitalized with the diagnosis of Meningoencephalitis. Laboratory studies showed the causative agent to be Cryptococcus neoformans. All patients had fever and most had localized headache. Pseudosarcoma botryoides is an infrequent vaginal tumor with benign evolution. Its importance lies in to distinguish of sarcoma botryoides, what is usually fatal. A case of vaginal polyp during pregnancy is presented. After cesarean section, polyp was excised and diagnosis of sarcoma botryoides was made. The clinical records of 18 children were studied, between 15 and 60 days old. They were hospitalized due to vomiting and diagnosis of suspected pyloric hypertrophic stenosis (PHS). The sonography confirmed the diagnosis in 8 children, by the thickening of the muscular layer and enlargement of the pyloric canal. The surgery (pyloromyotomy) ratified the diagnosis in all 8 children. They all were in good health after being operated.

Continent urinary reservoirs (CUR) have replaced ileum and colonic conducts as the best method for urinary diversion. The author present their experience with two patients in whom they fashioned a CUR in the Dr. Arnulfo Arias M. Metropolitan Complex using the ileocecal segment and part of the transverse colon (The Miami or Florida porch technique). They describe the clinical histories, surgical technique and the results obtained. They feel that the CUR has a large capacity, works at low pressure and is technically accessible. They consider it a good choice when urinary diversion is needed.

The authors report the results of therapy with amlodipine in 20 patients with mild or moderate hypertension (diastolic pressure between 95 and 115 mmHg). A study was made of twelve cases with uveitis, glaucoma and hyphema (UGH) caused by rigid intraocular posterior chamber implants. Three of these patients were female and nine were males.
