PURPOSE: To report on the long-term clinical course of a young, healthy patient who presented with a solitary posterior pole lesion as the initial manifestation of acute retinal necrosis (ARN).
METHODS: Descriptive case report.

PURPOSE: Ibrutinib is an irreversible Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitor that disrupts B-cell receptor signalling. It is licensed for treatment of low-grade B-cell malignancies, including chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, mantle cell lymphoma and lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma. A few case reports in the literature suggest that uveitis may be a side effect of ibrutinib treatment. Medical records of patients taking BRAF inhibitors for the treatment of systemic malignances at Mayo Clinic, Rochester from 01/01/2010 to 08/30/2021, were retrospectively reviewed.
