Tension pneumosella has been recognized as a very rare complication of pituitary transsphenoidal surgery. To the best of our knowledge, we report the second case of a pituitary adenoma "pneumo-apoplexy", which is characterized by findings consistent with tension pneumosella in the context of apoplexy of a pituitary adenoma; although it is an extremely rare diagnosis, it should be considered in patients with compatible clinical and radiological findings, particularly with a previous history of transsphenoidal pituitary surgery.

We used lymphotropic therapy in addition to standard treatment in 116 of 232 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. The effect was evaluated in the course of treatment and followed up for a year. Improvement in general condition of the patients, symptoms of infravesical obstruction, size of the prostate, urinary flow rate demonstrated high efficacy of lymphotropic therapy leading to a higher rate of persistent remission and higher quality of life.

Brunner's glands adenomas represent the 10% of the benign duodenal tumours. The most frequent site is the first portion of the duodenum, and they are extremely rare distally to the ampulla of Vater. We present two cases, one of them associated with an adenocarcinoma of the ampulla. This association has not been previously described in the literature. The transformation of an adenoma into an adenocarcinoma has neither been reported. We believe that the term hyperplasia should be used only for diffuse proliferations.
