Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy plays an important role in biosensor science thanks to the possibility of finding specific information from processes with different kinetics at a chosen electrode potential in one experiment. Linear peptide antibiotics have been isolated from amphibians, insects and humans and used as templates to design cheaper and more potent analogues for medical applications. BACKGROUND: Glycolytic flux is regulated by the energy demands of the cell.
