A total of 33 patients submitted to tibial intramedullary osteosynthesis for fracture (27 cases) and non-union were assessed by ultrasound and x-rays an average of 10.9 months after surgery. Unicondylar fractures of the femur are uncommon injuries that can occur in the sagittal or, less frequently, in the coronal plane (Hoffa fractures). Isolated coronal fracture of medial femoral condyle with intact lateral femoral condyle is extremely rare. We present our experience with such 6 cases of coronal fractures of medial femoral condyle.
