We report a rare case of canal of Nuck herniation in an adult woman. It results from a persistent processus vaginalis, which can lead to the formation of hernias or hydroceles. A 34-year-old woman presented with acute right inguinal pain, and an ultrasound revealed a patent canal of Nuck containing a herniated intra-abdominal structure. A rare disorder in females called hydrocele of the canal of Nuck is brought on by the processus vaginalis failing to obliterate. We describe a 13-year-old girl who developed a type I hydrocele of the canal of Nuck after presenting with left inguino-labial swelling. Despite misdiagnosis by ultrasound, surgical exploration verified the diagnosis. The hydrocele was completely excised, and the canal at the deep inguinal ring was ligated. The significance of taking this uncommon case into account while making a differential diagnosis for female inguinal swellings is highlighted by this instance.

Early postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (EPIC) and intraoperative peritoneal hypertermic chemotherapy (IPHC) are used in addition with cytoreductive surgery to treat with curative intent peritoneal carcinomatosis arising from colorectal adenocarcinomas. Four years after treatment of colon cancer an 82-year-old man presented with an irreducible, recurrent inguinal hernia with mesh-plug repair. Delayed surgical exploration revealed metastatic cancer with small bowel adhesion to the mesh-plug and perforation. The mesh-plug with adherent tissue was removed through the inguinal incision, and the ruptured small bowel was resected. Histopathology revealed moderately differentiated mucinous adenocarcinoma of the tissue adhering to the prosthetic material corresponding to the original colon cancer.

Original device from nikelid-titanium for reconstruction of posterior wall of inguinal canal was created. Clinical application of this device permitted to prevent the hernia recurrences in long-term period after surgery and reduce the number of complications associated with compression of spermatic cord. We present a case of a one month old female infant who presented with left inguinal swelling. She was prematurely born at 32 weeks of gestational age.
