Teaching evidence-based practice in undergraduate nursing education: why research must move beyond the classroom.

BACKGROUND: Evidence-based practice (EBP) is positioned as a core expectation of undergraduate nursing education, yet the research used to justify curricular approaches remains uneven in quality and relevance. Current literature frequently reports improved student knowledge, skills and attitudes following EBP teaching, but there is limited evidence that these gains are sustained in practice. AIM: To offer a critical reflection on the current direction of research on teaching EBP in undergraduate nursing education and to identify priorities for a more clinically meaningful research agenda. [Research progress on multimodal precision nursing interventions in urinary incontinence rehabilitation management after radical prostatectomy].

Multimodal precision nursing intervention enhances cognitive function and quality of life through multisensory collaborative stimulation by integrating multidimensional data of patients. As one of the most common complications after radical prostatectomy, urinary incontinence seriously affects the quality of life of prostate cancer patients after surgery which has a negative impact on multidimensional health in the "physiological-psychological-social" aspects. This paper summarizes the clinical manifestations, influencing factors, and nursing interventions of urinary incontinence after radical

Research Priorities for Intensive Care Nursing: A Focus Group and Three-Round Delphi Consensus Study.

Research priorities for intensive care nursing have been set internationally but not in Japan. We aimed to identify national priorities and compare them with those reported elsewhere. Focus group interviews with 10 expert intensive care unit (ICU) nurses generated 65 categories, which 50 nurses rated over three modified Delphi rounds (consensus, median ≥ 70, then ≥ 80). Categories were restructured into 20 topics; 16 reached consensus. Five independent nursing researchers who had taken no part in the interviews or the Delphi rounds then appraised every topic for validity, applicability, utilit
