Donkeys are a public health concern in the Northeast region of Brazil, with thousands of stray animals. Leiomyoma is a benign tumor originating from smooth muscle cell, Mostly from uterus. However, in men is a very rare entity. Scrotal leiomyoma is a very rare tumor. Here we presented a case of scrotal leiomyoma in a 71-year-old man. He presented with a slowly growing, painless mass and heaviness in the left testis for 10 years. Due to huge size, testicular attachment and preoperational diagnosis of atypical leiomyoma/leiomyosarcoma, orchiectomy was performed. Pathology report diagnosed leiomyoma. We suggest frozen section diagnosis as a useful tool, to prevent unnecessary procedure.

Gender-affirmation therapies for transgender and gender diverse (TGD) individuals has been increasing in numbers in recent years. BACKGROUND: Spermatic cord torsion (SCT) is a surgical emergency. Any delay in diagnosis or treatment may compromise the vital and functional prognosis of the testicle. The orchiectomy rate remains very high in the literature; it can even reach 50 % in certain series. Several factors have been reported in the literature as being significantly correlated with the risk of orchiectomy: duration of symptoms, the number of turns, the younger ages, etc. The objective of this study has been to analyse the predictive factors of orchiectomy in adult SCT in our context.

In patients treated for prostatic carcinoma with oestrogen, orchiectomy or external radiation, serum concentrations of testosterone, LH, FSH, prolactin, TeBG and oestradiol-17 beta as well as changes in sexual behaviour and mental mood were studied. Brucellosis, a zoonotic infection common in Iran, rarely causes genitourinary complications such as orchitis. We report a 65-year-old Persian cattle farmer with brucellosis who developed a testicular abscess despite antibiotic therapy. Initial treatment with rifampin and doxycycline resolved systemic symptoms, but scrotal pain prompted ultrasound, revealing a right testicular abscess.
