Archived formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) samples represent a valuable resource for the determination of gene expression for physio/pathological conditions. Nine pregnant heifers were inoculated intravenously with infectious bovine rhinotracheitis virus (IBRV) in the sixth month of pregnancy.
