The studies of Röckl und Schubert supported the theory that fusobacteria are often found in perioral dermatitis. When we characterize perioral dermatitis as fusobacteriosis, we do not have any doubt that fluorinated corticosteroids represent a very important pathogenetic factor. Corticoids enable opportune fusobacteria to become pathogenic. In our opinion without these bacteria the beginning of the perioral dermatitis seems impossible. Other supporting causes, which are relevant to sex distribution (oral contraceptives, moisturizing creams) are described.

BACKGROUND: Oxysterol-binding proteins (OSBPs) serve as critical regulators throughout the oomycete life cycle. Oxathiapiprolin (OXA), a potent OSBP-targeting fungicide, represents the first commercially developed piperidine-thiazole-isooxazoline (PTI) product. OBJECTIVE: Fetal arrhythmias are common and in rare cases can be associated with severe mortality and morbidity. Most existing articles are focused on classification of fetal arrhythmias in referral centers. Isolated congenital complete heart block (CCHB) is a rare disease with significant associated morbidity and mortality. A diagnosis is often made in fetal life, but data regarding long-term outcomes are limited, and fetal therapy to improve prognosis is controversial. In our institution, 85 fetuses were diagnosed with CCHB from 1981 to 2013 in 80 mothers. A continuing study of perioral dermatitis over a period of 12 years is presented. A distinction is made between various patterns of circumoral and paranasal dermatitis and the clinical picture that we describe as "perioral dermatitis". BACKGROUND: Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), a well-known complication of cardiac neonatal lupus, is associated with high mortality rate. Its risk factors remain unclear.

Tinea incognito is a variant of dermatophyte infection of the skin modified by an erroneously applied topical or systemic steroid. Aim of the study: to describe the various clinic-epidemiological aspects of tinea incognito found among our patients. A prospective study was carried out in the Department of Dermatology, Basra Teaching Hospital, Basra, Iraq. The clinical diagnosis was confirmed by mycological tests. Clinical data were described in more detail and the lesions were classified according to the site, shape, and extent. Ninety cases of tinea incognito were seen, median age was 34years.
