Unlocking the Effects of Neural Mobilization versus Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation in Cervical Radiculopathy.

INTRODUCTION: As we know that there are many complaints regarding cervical radiculopathy (CR) coming up nowadays. CR has many more causes, such as poor posture, screen time, prolong working duration on computer system, high pillow, sudden jerk, etc. Along with the above-mentioned causes physical activity also influences the CR cases. Lack of physical activity reduces the strength of the surrounding muscle which increases the chances for CR. A person with regular physical activity has less-chances of such conditions. OBJECTIVES: To unlock the effects of neural mobilization (NM) versus transcut

Pyoderma gangrenosum induced by transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation: a case report with literature review.

Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is one of the neutrophilic dermatosis, a heterogenous group of rare inflammatory diseases affecting the skin. It is often associated with systemic diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, rheumatoid arthritis or hematological malignancies. Classical PG is characterized by painful ulcers with violaceous, undermined border, often developing at sites of injury because of the typical pathergy phenomenon. Because of its polymorphic presentation, misdiagnosis and delayed diagnosis are common. We present a case of PG occurring after transcutaneous electrical nerve stimul

Measurement of Vagus Nerve Response to Transcutaneous Electrical Ear Canal Stimulation in Anesthetized Rat.

Vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) administered to individuals following events such as severe trauma can be a potential therapy to attenuate gut injury and its sequelae. To determine the effective dose of transcutaneous electrical VNS (TE-VNS) and explore an effective method for performing TE-VNS, a measurement system was developed for the detection of vagus nerve response to TE-VNS. In addition, a noise-suppressed transcutaneous electrical stimulator (TES) was constructed for the same purpose. Using these tools, waveforms considered as nerve action potentials were successfully recorded. The recor
