INTRODUCTION: Non-responders to cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT-NR) have poor prognosis. Sacubitril/valsartan (SV) treatment improved the outcome of patients with heart failure with reduced left ventricular (LV) ejection fraction (HFrEF) in randomized trials with no data on the specific cohort of CRT-NRs. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to determine the renal protective effects of TCV 116, a novel, non-competitive, angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptor antagonist, in rats with 5/6 renal mass ablation.
