A case of gangliocytic paraganglioma (GP) of the ampulla of Vater is reported and the literature reviewed, with special attention to immunohistochemical studies. Peripheral blood T, NK and B-cell subsets were analyzed in 18 patients with nontoxic multinodular goiter (NMG) and 11 patients with toxic multinodular goiter (TMG) in order to evaluate whether hyperthyroidism modifies the distribution of these cell populations. Mature Large Granular lymphocytes (LGL) disorders include a spectrum of conditions, ranging from polyclonal to clonal indolent and/or overt leukemic LGL proliferations. An immunohistochemical study of renal tubule cell differentiation in hydrops fetalis was performed using antibodies against lysozyme, CD15, keratin, epithelial membrane antigen and Leu-7, and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of tissue that was obtained at autopsy.
