This paper presents innovations in green electronic and computing technologies. The importance and the status of the main subjects in green electronic and computing technologies are presented in this paper. In the last semicentennial, the planet suffered from rapid changes in climate. The planet is suffering from increasingly wild storms, hurricanes, typhoons, hard droughts, increases in seawater height, floods, seawater acidification, decreases in groundwater reserves, and increases in global temperatures. These climate changes may be irreversible if companies, organizations, governments, and

Bridging the epistemic gap: a psychological acceptance model for the cross-cultural health communication of traditional Chinese medicine.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is now included in the ICD-11, reflecting its growing use within systems of medical pluralism worldwide. Its global communication, however, continues to encounter cognitive friction. This friction reflects an epistemic gap between TCM's holistic, pattern-based logic and the reductionist framework of biomedicine, a gap that linguistic translation cannot close on its own. The present study develops the TCM Psychological Acceptance Model (TCM-PAM) to address this challenge and to consider how the ontological insecurity often experienced by non-Chinese audiences

Regulatory mechanisms of synthetic microbial communities on rhizosphere microecology to alleviate continuous monoculture obstacles of medicinal plants.

Driven by industrial policies and market expansion, China has formed the world's largest medicinal plant cultivation industry. However, sustainable herbal production is seriously hindered by continuous monoculture obstacles (CMOs), which arise from prolonged single-species successive cultivation and manifest as comprehensive soil degradation featuring autotoxic allelochemical buildup, unbalanced rhizosphere microbiota, impaired soil physicochemical conditions, and frequent soil-borne pathogen outbreaks. Such adverse alterations lower soil enzyme activity, disrupt microbial community homeostasi

Medicinal plants used for the treatment of various skin disorders by a rural community in northern Maputaland, South Africa.

BACKGROUND: Skin diseases have been of major concern recently due to their association with the Human Immunodeficiency Virus and Acquired Immunity Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS). The study area (northern Maputaland) has the highest HIV infection rate in South Africa, which made them more prone to a wide range of skin conditions. Fungal infections due to the hot climate and overcrowding households are common in this area, as well as burn accidents due to the use of wood as the major fuel for cooking. It is known that the lay people in this area depend on medicinal plants for their primary healt

The prevention of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome in the United States. An objective strategy for medicine, public health, business, and the community.

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is one of the most virulent infectious agents ever encountered. This virus, estimated to kill up to a half of those infected, has spread to more than 1 million Americans. There is no safe and effective treatment. Nor is there a vaccine. From our understanding of HIV transmission, further spread of the virus can be stopped by the use of various techniques. The combined use of education-motivation-skill building, serologic screening, and contact tracing/notification could eliminate or substantially reduce transmission. To accomplish this reduction an immense co

"We are not sick, so why take medicine?" Community perspectives on barriers, facilitators, and implementation strategies for IPTsc in Ghana.

BACKGROUND: Intermittent preventive treatment for school-aged children (IPTsc) is a newly recommended malaria chemoprevention strategy targeting populations that increasingly sustain malaria transmission in sub-Saharan Africa. Ghana recently added IPTsc into its national malaria strategy, yet evidence on community acceptability and implementation strategies in non-trial settings remains limited. This study explored perceived barriers, facilitators, and preferred implementation strategies for IPTsc in a high-transmission district in Ghana. METHODS: An exploratory qualitative study was conducte

Penicillin Allergy Delabeling: Provider Knowledge, Practice Patterns, and Barriers Among Internal Medicine Residents in a Large Urban Community Teaching Hospital.

BACKGROUND: Penicillin allergy is the most frequently reported drug allergy, yet up to 90% of labels are inaccurate. These erroneous labels contribute to suboptimal antibiotic use, higher healthcare costs, and increased antimicrobial resistance. Despite growing evidence supporting delabeling, provider hesitancy and knowledge gaps persist. OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the awareness, confidence, and clinical decision-making of internal medicine residents regarding penicillin allergy delabeling within a large community hospital setting. Specifically, we seek to identify ex

Social Medicine Approaches to Community-Integrated Diabetes Care: A Narrative Review of Clinic-Based Triaging and Closed-Loop Referral Interventions.

The global prevalence of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) has risen to more than 800 million people and is projected to exceed 1.3 billion by 2050, with racially and ethnically minoritized populations experiencing disproportionate morbidity, mortality, and barriers to prevention and management. Health-related social needs (HRSNs), including food and housing insecurity, transportation barriers, and low health literacy, shape these inequities and reflect long-standing structural forces. In response, many health systems have adopted standardized HRSN screening tools in primary care; however, scree
