BACKGROUND: Lung cancer is one of the most important diseases threatening human health, and targeted therapy has become the main research direction. METHODS: Data from population-based cancer registries covering a population of 39 million inhabitants from 14 federal states were pooled. Lip malignancies were classified according to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10). Iron dysregulation is implicated in numerous diseases, and iron homeostasis is profoundly influenced by the labile iron pool (LIP). Tools to easily observe changes in the LIP are limited, with calcein AM-based assays most widely used. Here we present liposome-based formulations to achieve very long ocular anesthetic effect after a single eye drop instillation. RATIONALE: Biopsy is very important for the diagnosis of oral lichen planus (OLP) on the lips. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) can be used to coordinate the whole body, soften and eliminate swellings and masses, and regulate the functions of qi and blood. Therefore, TCM could be an effective and safe treatment for OLP. Wet dressing is particularly important for the treatment of lip diseases. We report on a rare case of OLP on the lower lip.

This report summarizes the incidence, relative frequency distributions and survival & mortality by age, sex, stage and grade, of adult invasive primary cancers of the lip in two entrant time-periods as recorded in the SEER Program of the National Cancer Institute for diagnosis years 1973-2014 (SEER Stat 8.3.5). While the occurrence rates and frequency are low in the United States, they are exceptionally important from a clinical and surgical standpoint because of the morphological and functional changes involved.
