Transitions of care between pediatric onco-hematology and intensive care units: An exploratory study of healthcare professionals' perceptions and practices in medication management.

BACKGROUND: As in adult care, pediatric patients experience transitions in their care trajectory, such as transfers to intensive care units (ICUs) during episodes of clinical deterioration. In pediatric onco-hematology, the administration of Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy often necessitates several days of ICU admission for post-infusion monitoring. As a result, systematic collaboration between pediatric onco-hematology and intensive care teams is becoming standard for these advanced therapies. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to explore healthcare professionals' perceptions, exper

Evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for diagnosis and medical management of acute colonic diverticulitis developed by the Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases (KASID).

Acute colonic diverticulitis is a common gastrointestinal inflammatory disorder. The incidence of acute colonic diverticulitis has been steadily increasing in Korea, particularly among younger and middle-aged adults. This rising prevalence, along with the observed differences in clinical characteristics compared to Western populations, underscores the need for region-specific, evidence-based guidance. The Korean Association for the Study of Intestinal Diseases (KASID) established a task force to develop these clinical practice guidelines to optimize the diagnosis and medical management of acut

Management practices of dog and cat owners in France (pet traveling, animal contact rates and medical monitoring): Impacts on the introduction and the spread of directly transmitted infectious pet diseases.

A number of owner practices among the pet dog and cat population can influence the dynamics of directly transmitted infectious dog and cat diseases, including zoonotic ones. To better depict these management practices, which include pet traveling, contact rates with other companion animals and their medical monitoring (which herein includes prevention aspects), we surveyed 2,122 dog- and/or cat-owning French households through an anonymous online questionnaire. Trips with dogs within the European Union (EU) were frequent, while cats travelled less frequently within the EU and both cats and dog
