Aim: To present a complex case of Ahmed tube exposure 6 months after the implantation associated with corneal melting and iris prolapse, and the surgical reposition that required multiple allografts and limbal reconstruction. PURPOSE: Repair of leaking filtering blebs after trabeculectomy is a surgical challenge, especially when the patient presents with hypotony. Repair of the filtering bleb using only conjunctiva reconstruction often fails when deeper tissue structures do not provide sufficient outflow resistance. Here, we present a technique that uses anterior stromal lamellae left over from donor corneas used for descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty procedures as patch grafts to repair the scleral tissue wound as a way to treat ocular hypotony.

PURPOSE: To report a patient with intraocular silicone oil migration into the subconjunctival space and orbit through an Ahmed glaucoma valve implant.
METHODS: Observational case report. A 29-year-old female with diabetes mellitus and proliferative diabetic retinopathy underwent three left eye pars plana vitrectomies and ultimately intraocular silicone oil placement for tractional retinal detachment. Subsequently, she developed neovascular glaucoma and underwent an inferotemporal Ahmed glaucoma tube implant, left eye.

BACKGROUND: Silicone oil insertion is a common modality in vitreoretinal surgeries. The purpose of this study is to conduct a systematic review to summarize the uncommon complication of extraocular silicone oil migration.
METHODS: Following the PRISMA guidelines, a systematic review of the literature was performed on January 11, 2020, using PubMed and EMBASE with the following terms: "silicone oil," "eye," and "migrat*."
RESULTS: A total of 69 patients-68 patients from 59 articles and one case from our institution-were included in the final analysis. The median age was 54 years (range, 9-92)

PURPOSE: Glaucoma drainage device surgery (GDDS) has gained popularity, with outcomes equivalent to trabeculectomy. Erosion of the tube through the overlying conjunctiva may occur in 5%-10% of eyes. Donor corneal tissue has been used as a patch graft for GDDS.
MATERIALS AND METHODS: This was a prospective proof of concept study in 10 patients undergoing GDDS. From patients undergoing endothelial keratoplasty, the donor tissue (approximately 300 μ in thickness) was placed epithelial side down in a well and was allowed to soak in riboflavin solution (VibeX, Avedro, Waltham, MA, USA) for 15 min.
