INTRODUCTION: Urachal adenocarcinoma is a rare non urothelial malignancy which arises from the urachus, which is a fibrous remnant of allantois that extends from the bladder to the umbilicus.
CASE PRESENTATION: A 36 years old man presented with haematuria of 3 months duration. Cystoscopy revealed single solid growth at the dome of the bladder. Transurethral resection (TUR) biopsy showed invasive adenocarcinoma, on pelvic MRI there was 5 cm ∗ 3 cm bladder dome mass. Neonatal umbilical anomalies usually represent remains of the vitelline duct or the allantois. We describe a case of an umbilical appendix in a neonate. Rabbits were infected with Legionella pneumophila by intravenous administration of allantoic fluid from eggs infected with this organism. Heated plasma from animals with severe illness caused by L. pneumophila lysed erythrocytes from guinea pigs in a radial hemolysis assay. We present a unique case of umbilical cord cysts of allantoic and omphalomesenteric remnants with progressive cord edema during pregnancy. During equine early gestation, trophectoderm forms chorion tissue, which is composed of two parts that one is covering allantoin, called allantochorion (AC) and another is covering yolk sac, which here we call vitelline-chorion (VC). AIM: Local antiseptics are used for desinfection of skin and for lavage of wounds. The aim of this study was to determine the tissue toxicity of different antiseptics and to measure the irritation score (IS) and the irritation threshold (IT) for each substance.
