INTRODUCTION: Watchman FLX has been recently approved for left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) in the US. Intracardiac echocardiography (ICE) - which is already commonly used to guide trans-septal access - can serve as an alternative to TEE, simplifying the procedure and reducing associated costs.
