RIIIS/J mice lack an autosomal dominant gene(s) that influences the magnitude of the antibody response to several polysaccharide antigens of bacterial origin. Decreased beta adrenergic regulation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) in lymphocytes has been described in asthma. We investigated adrenergic stimulation of glycogenolysis and responses to prostaglandin E1 (PGE1). This work investigates the thermal and chemical denaturation of recombinant Rab2B in the absence and presence of varying concentrations of denaturant (urea) under crowded environments using the synthetic crowders PEG 8 (polyethylene glycol, MW of 8 kDa) and Ficoll 70 (MW of 70 kDa). A procedure is described for the preparation of a tissue fraction enriched in basal-lateral membranes of the epithelium of ciliary body dissected from abattoir-derived cow eyes. A special cultivation technique of separated blasts of peripheral blood in suspension culture has been used for cytogenetic diagnosis of patients suffering from acute nonlymphocytic leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, and refractory anemia with excess of blasts. OBJECTIVES: The goals of the present study are to obtain, expand and characterize a stem cell population from human omentum and to evaluate its in vivo angiogenic capacities.

Habitual abuse of nitrite inhalants has been linked in epidemiological studies with seropositivity to human immunodeficiency virus and, separately, with Kaposi's sarcoma among AIDS patients.
