Traditional three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction is labor-intensive owing to manual segmentation; this can be addressed by developing artificial intelligence (AI)-driven automated segmentation. AIMS: Adnexal tumours of probable Wolffian origin are rare low-grade malignant neoplasms that have been previously described in the broad ligament, ovaries and retroperitoneum of females. All are characterized by small, bland epithelial cells growing in a diffuse, trabecular, or tubular pattern. The majority of the cases reported have pursued a benign clinical course. However, recurrences and distant metastases have been described. We present a case of a male adnexal tumour of probable Wolffian origin occurring in the left seminal vesicle of a 29-year-old man with 23 years of follow-up.

We report the presence of epididymis-like tubules in unilateral renal hypodysplasia in 3 adult men. Microscopy showed dilated tubules lined by ciliated columnar epithelium and smaller basal cells, morphologically resembling epididymal tubules. Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a common hereditary disease in humans. Recent studies have shown an increasing number of ciliary genes that are involved in the pathogenesis of PKD. In this study, the Gli-similar3 (glis3) gene was identified as the causal gene of the medaka pc mutant, a model of PKD. Grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) is an economically important fish species that holds a central position in freshwater aquaculture in China, and its primary disease, grass carp hemorrhagic disease (GCHD), is caused by Grass Carp Reovirus (GCRV) infection. GCHD poses serious threats to aquaculture, but traditional prevention and control methods are limited. Currently, the primary measures for preventing and controlling the disease include vaccination and cultivating disease-resistant varieties.
