Streptococcus pneumoniae is one of the major causative agents of invasive infectious disease in children <5 years old globally. The aim of this study was to analyze the antimicrobial resistance and the serotype distribution of S. pneumoniae isolates from the paediatric population in Tunisia and to specify the serotypes coverage by the conjugate pneumococcal vaccines. Mycoplasma genitalium infection contributes to 10-35% of non-chlamydial non-gonococcal urethritis in men. In women, M. genitalium is associated with cervicitis and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). Quinupristin/dalfopristin is a streptogramin antibacterial with a wide spectrum of Gram-positive antibacterial activity. The drug has minimal oral absorption and is administered intravenously as a fixed 30 : 70 ratio of quinupristin to dalfopristin.
