Behçet's disease (BD) is characterised by the triad of recurrent oral and genital aphthous ulceration, skin lesions and ocular inflammation. This disease frequently affects other systems including neurological, locomotor, cardiac or vascular systems. Recurrent oral and genital aphthous ulcerations are the hallmarks of BD. We hereby report a case of rapidly evolving and aggressive form of BD in a young man presenting with extensive ulcerative lesions in orogenital region leading to obstructive uropathy resulting in acquired urethral meatal stenosis due to inflammatory activity.

A 10-year-old male Korean domestic short-haired cat was presented with refractory lower urinary tract obstruction. The cat was treated by urethral stent placement using a self-expanding nitinol intraluminal stent (Zilver 535 biliary stents, COOK, U.S.A.) subsequent with balloon expansion. Although the cat showed 2 days of transient hematuria after the stent placement, no further obstruction was occurred after the stent placement. Follow-up studies performed at monthly intervals have found no re-stenosis or particular complications, to date.

The aim of our study was to assess the feasibility of performing optical urethrotomy for urethral stricture disease under local anaesthesia. A total of 33 patients with radiologically proven urethral stricture underwent optical urethrotomy by a single operator under local anaesthesia. Of these patients, 23 (70%) had stricture involving the corpora spongiosum and 18 (55%) of the patients were dependent on supra-pubic catheters. The procedure was successful in 30 cases (91%). AIMS: To validate syndromic management of cases having genital ulcerative disease (GUD) and urethral discharge syndrome (UDS).
MATERIALS AND METHODS: A study of 113 cases of GUD and UDS was carried out in the Department of Skin and VD from March 2011 to August 2012. All cases having history and clinical evidence suggestive of GUD and UDS were included in the study.

Our objective was to describe a multi-institutional experience treating female urethral stricture disease with female dorsal onlay buccal mucosa graft (FD-BMG) urethroplasty outcomes.

Recto-perineal-urethral fistula caused by Crohn's disease is a rare, for which fundamental treatment has not been established yet. We analyzed the clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of six male patients with anorectal lesions caused by Crohn's disease. Three patients were treated with abdominoperineal resection and the other three with rectal excision without anastomosis. A case of a young man with profound iron deficiency anemia, chronic painless hematuria and urethral bleeding is presented. He had the typical cutaneous findings of Osler-Weber-Rendu disease (hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia). Appropriate urological studies demonstrated bladder and urethral telangiectases, with no other explanation for the bleeding. Osler-Weber-Rendu disease should be considered in the differential diagnosis of chronic painless hematuria.
