INTRODUCTION: Tuberculosis dactylis is exceptional. We report one case in an 11 years old girl.
OBSERVATION: N.D., 11 years old, was admitted for a right hand second finger tumour evolving since six months and linked to a trauma. A case of heptacarpo-octatarso-dactyly combined with cheilo-gnatho-palato-schisis, hypertelorism, macroglossia, complex malformations of heart and great vessels, horse-shoe-kidney, micro-penis, and penis palmatus is described. To our knowledge, this syndrome has not yet been described in the literature. Some of the features of the case reported overlap with syndromes such as Grauhan syndrome and Meckel syndrome.

The humoral immune system of reptiles is not well-studied. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this case report describes the first case of a type I allergic conjunctivitis associated with orchard grass in an African spur-thighed tortoise (Centrochelys sulcata) supported by intradermal allergen testing and provocative testing. Further studies are needed to better characterize allergic reactions in reptiles.

Tuberculosis dactylis is exceptional. We report tuberculous dactylitis in three women who were 51, 44, and 62-year-old, respectively. The diagnosis was suspected on chronic and insidious clinical presentation, and confirmed by histology. Disease course was favourable with antibuberculosis regimen but two patients had permanent hand disability. Clinical and therapeutic issues are discussed in the context of an endemic country.

We tested 100 children with clinical signs that occurred in spring or summer. Prick tests were made with extracts of wild grass pollens (Dactylis, Phleum, Lolium) and with separate cereal pollens (Wheat, oats, Sweet-corn Barley and Rye). In 20 children whose test was negative for wild grass pollen, we saw no sensitization to cereals. In 80 children with grass pollenosis, Barley and Rye are the cereals that gave the most positive prick tests, whilst sweet corn is the cereal with most negative tests.

Two new species of the palaemonid genus Periclimenaeus are described and illustrated from Korea; additionally, a third species is recorded from Korea for the first time.
