Allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) may occur secondary to devotional practices in various religions. A systematic review of PubMed was conducted from inception of database to September 9, 2022. Key terms were "contact dermatitis" or "devotional dermatosis" in association with major world religions including "Christianity," "Islam," "Hinduism," "Buddhism," "Sikhism," and "Judaism." Over the last 20 years there has been a revival of interest in orthodox Judaism in Israel. In an area of Jerusalem with a large concentration of academies of study for 'baalei teshuva' (those who have undergone change to orthodox Judaism), it was noted that 12.6 per cent of referrals to the community mental health centre were newly religious. Historical outline of circumcision and its meaning for numerous societies. Circumcision is a very characteristic mark, especially for the confessors of Judaism. Nevertheless, it is known from the world history that during persecution periods it used to be a hidden seal. So, circumcision has been always accompanied by reconstruction operations, which had been known even in the ancient Rome. A number of such operations and attempts of reconstruction of prepuce grew considerably during the 2nd World War. The author presents his own operation materials and observations.
