We have studied the effect of a streptococcal preparation, OK-432, given alone or in combination with hyperthermia on murine tumour and normal tissues. The experimental tumour was a spontaneous non-immunogenic fibrosarcoma FSa-II transplanted in the foot of C3Hf/Sed mice. Dislocation of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is a thorny problem not only for a patient but also a doctor. Especially for the elderly edentulous patients, it is very hard to treat the condition although there are many surgical and non-surgical procedures. We successfully treated it in two elderly edentulous patients by injection of OK-432 as a sclerosing agent.

It has previously been demonstrated that the local administration of OK-432 (Picibanil) enhances the response of a murine tumour and normal tissue to elevated temperatures. The experimental animals were C3Hf/Sed mice and the tumours were the fourth generation isotransplants of a spontaneous non-immunogenic fibrosarcoma, FSa-II. Breast enlargement in prepubertal boys is a rare condition. This case report describes an otherwise healthy 3-year old non-obese boy who developed a large unilateral cystic breast mass measuring approximately 9 × 6 × 4 cm. We present a case of lung adenocarcinoma with malignant pleural effusion. Nineteen days after pleurodesis using minocycline and OK-432 (picibanil), pembrolizumab monotherapy was initiated. We report on the application of OK-432 (picibanil) in a patient with prolonged wound healing impairment. A 13-year-old girl had suffered a polytrauma with a displaced fracture of the sacrum which required neurosurgical decompression of the sacral plexus.
