Аннотация
Whereas the MRT appearances of aseptic necrosis in various localisations, particularly the hip, are well described) there are only a few publications in the literature concerning Ahlbäck's disease. The present case has shown that MRT, using a T1-weighted dynamic serial gradient echo sequence with bolus injection of contrast, provides useful information for the early diagnosis of this condition. By using Gd-DTPA it is possible to evaluate the viability and vascularity of the affected bone.
