Surgery is the most typical treatment for patients who have a type II fracture of the cardinal vertebra's odontoid process along with a considerable displacement of the odontoid process. Nonetheless, surgical intervention is characterized by challenges and problems following surgery. For the first time, a youngster who had a type II fracture of the cardinal vertebra's odontoid process and substantial odontoid process displacement is described in this work. The child healed with conservative treatment.
