OBJECTIVE: To explore the feasibility of one-stage repair of hypospadias using scrotal septal skin flap based on peri-meatus dartos fascia.
METHODS: Nine patients were repaired by this method.
RESULTS: All patients achieved good results without urethral fistula or stricture. The angle of the penis to the scrotum is normal.
CONCLUSION: The flap has reliable blood supply and the flap creation is easy. It is a simple, convenient and effective method for one-stage repair of hypospadias.
