How do I do it: A simple teaching tool for bladder irrigation.

After bladder augmentation, bladder irrigation is essential for reducing stone formation, yet patient adherence remains low. We describe a simple, visual teaching tool we created using a modified snow globe to simulate the bladder. Children are guided through hands-on irrigation practice, improving understanding and engagement. This low-cost tool offers a practical and easily reproducible method to enhance patient and caregiver post-operative education and adherence. While we have appreciated great success with this technique, further research is needed to evaluate long-term outcomes and effectiveness.
