[Diagnostic and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease].

Diagnostic criteria endoscopically negative forms of GERD are the presence of symptoms of concern to the patient, the absence of damage to the esophagus during EGD and rapid relief of heartburn, a single dose of alginate (alginate positive test).
