INTRODUCTION: This study introduces a novel methodology for dynamically representing the regulation of music-induced emotions and associated neuroendocrine responses. The research addresses the limitations of traditional approaches, which often fail to capture the intricate and dynamic interactions between musical stimuli and the resulting emotional and physiological changes.
METHODS: To overcome these challenges, we propose the Componen tEnergy Temporal model, which integrates three key components: the Component Interaction Resolver, the Energy Conserving Adapter, and the Temporal Forecast Adapter. These components collectively provide a robust framework for analyzing the temporal and energetic dynamics of music-induced emotional and physiological responses. Furthermore, the methodology incorporates modular structure learning and latent dynamics modeling to enhance adaptability and precision, enabling the model to account for individual variability and complex system behaviors.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Experimental results demonstrate the model's efficacy in accurately predicting and representing the dynamic interplay between music, emotion, and neuroendocrine activity, achieving significant improvements in predictive accuracy and interpretability compared to existing methods. The findings underscore the potential of this approach to advance research in music therapy, emotional regulation, and related fields, offering a powerful tool for exploring the mechanisms underlying music's impact on human physiology and emotion. This work provides a foundation for future studies aimed at developing personalized interventions and therapeutic strategies leveraging music's regulatory effects on emotional and physiological states.
