Аннотация
OBJECTIVES: The growth, development, and accumulation of active compounds in Gastrodia elata are influenced by its mycorrhizosphere bacteria, which indirectly enhances host nutrition by stimulating the growth of the orchid mycorrhizal fungus Armillaria gallica. However, data on the mycorrhizosphere bacterial community of G. elata, especially on key functional strains, remain limited, restricting their application in medicinal plant cultivation. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of the plant growth-promoting bacterium Rahnella aceris HPDA25, which was isolated from the mycorrhizosphere of G. elata and promotes the growth of A. gallica.
DATA DESCRIPTION: The genome sequence of Rahnella aceris HPDA25, isolated from the mycorrhizosphere of Gastrodia elata, is presented in this paper. The genome of R. aceris HPDA25 was sequenced using the PacBio Sequel platform and assembled into a 5.63 Mb genome comprising one circular chromosome and two circular plasmids, with a contig N50 of 4.98 Mb. Genome completeness and contamination were estimated with CheckM v1.2.3 to be 100.00% and 5.46%, respectively. Gene prediction identified multiple genomic features, including tRNAs, rRNAs, CRISPR loci, genomic islands and prophages. Functional annotation against public databases revealed extensive representation of Gene Ontology (GO) terms, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathways and Clusters of Orthologous Groups (COG) categories, as well as genes related to antibiotic resistance, virulence and pathogen-host interactions. This dataset refines our understanding of bacterial assemblages in the G. elata mycorrhizosphere and provides a genomic resource for dissecting the mechanisms by which HPDA25 promotes fungal and plant growth.
