[The therapeutic efficacy of pyrazidol in depressive states].

A total of 125 depressive patients were treated by pyrasidol. It was depicted that this drug is an antidepressant with a marked tranquillizing component activity. It does not cause complications and marked side-effects. Its use is more effective in an anxiety-depressive syndrome, within manic-depressive psychosis, vascular and organic damages of the CNS, somatogenic and reactive depressions. Pyrasidol can also be used in the treatment of depressive patients of the elderly, somatic patients and physically weaked ones.
