[Liquid-crystal thermography in the diagnosis of acute cholecystitis complicated by biliary peritonitis].

The paper is summing up the experience concerning the application of liquid crystalline thermography in order to diagnose various forms of acute cholecystitis complicated by biliary peritonitis. The method was used in 56 patients with various forms of acute cholecystitis and in 30 healthy middle-aged people. The authors believe the method used to give more exact diagnosis of the spread and phase of the inflammatory process in different forms of acute cholecystitis.
