Аннотация
Based on the analysis of the medical records of patients studied in a large clinical trial, possible ways for improving results of surgical treatment of patients with organic hyperinsulinism were outlined. Use of ultrasonic aspirator permitted the damage to the main pancreatic duct and great vessels to be avoided during surgery. A technique is suggested enabling one to detect a damage to the main pancreatic duct during surgery doing away with it in a timely fashion; a positive effect has been ascertained of sandostatine in the prophylaxis of postoperative complications.
