[Advances in the application of Janus kinase inhibitors for the uncommon pediatric dermatological disorders].

Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors have emerged as a research hotspot in pediatric inflammation-mediated autoimmune skin diseases, owing to the ability to target and block the JAK-signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK-STAT) signaling pathway. This article summarizes the mechanism of action and approved indications of JAK inhibitors, and systematically reviews the efficacy and safety data in pediatric uncommon skin diseases such as lichen planus, connective tissue diseases, hidradenitis suppurativa, haploinsufficiency of A20, and chronic atypical neutrophilic dermatosis with lipodystrophy and elevated temperature syndrome, aiming to provide new options for optimizing therapeutic regimens for those pediatric skin diseases.
