Аннотация
Child and adolescent myopia has become a critical global public health concern, with its prevalence steadily rising worldwide. Shifts in circadian behaviors, including irregular sleep schedules and increased nighttime exposure to artificial light, have contributed to widespread circadian rhythm disruptions manifested as sleep disorders, social jetlag, and excessive nighttime blue light exposure. Accumulating evidence suggests that circadian rhythm-disrupting behaviors are closely linked to the onset and progression of myopia in children and adolescents, although the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood. This paper systematically reviews the associations between circadian rhythm-disrupting behaviors and pediatric and adolescent myopia, as well as the potential pathogenic mechanisms involved. It further summarizes existing myopia intervention strategies targeting circadian behavioral abnormalities. By optimizing circadian behavioral patterns, this review aims to provide novel insights and evidence for the precise prevention and control of childhood and adolescent myopia.
