BACKGROUND & AIMS: Constitutive activation of β-catenin is a key feature in the pathogenesis of HCC and hepatoblastoma (HB). Activating alterations in the CTNNB1 gene and, to a lesser extent, inactivating alterations in the APC gene are observed in 30-40% of HCC cases and 80-90% of HB cases. Targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT) is a promising strategy for precision oncology but is limited by the lack of high-performance targeting ligands. Here, we report a lutetium-177 (177Lu)-labeled PTK7-targeted cyclized bivalent aptamer (CBSgc8) for treating an orthotopic hepatoblastoma.
