We present a systematic investigation of the Frustrated Lewis Pair (FLP) chemistry of carbodicarbenes (fCDCs) featuring varied steric profiles in combination with strong (B(C6F5)3, BCF) and weak (BPh3) boron Lewis acids. The trinuclear copper(ii) complex [Cu3(saltag)(py)6]ClO4 (H5saltag = tris(2-hydroxybenzylidene)triaminoguanidine) was synthesized and characterized by experimental as well as theoretical methods. This complex exhibits a strong antiferromagnetic coupling (J = -298 cm-1) between the copper(ii) ions, mediated by the N-N diazine bridges of the tritopic ligand, leading to a spin-frustrated system. Stereotypic behaviours are common in animals in impoverished housing, arising from two complementary processes: (1) thwarted attempts to perform motivated behaviours; (2) forebrain dysfunction impeding normal behavioural inhibition. However, only recently have researchers started to systematically analyze their structural characteristics and how these in turn affect the gambler. CASE REPORT: A 56-year-old male patient with terminal renal insufficiency received a living donor kidney transplant from his wife in June 2007. Initial immunosuppression consisted of prednisolone, tacrolimus, and mycophenolate mofetil (MMF). 4 months after transplantation, the serum creatinine increased to 192 micromol/l and urinary analysis revealed the presence of decoy cells.
