A 78-year-old man presenting with amaurosis was admitted to the outpatient clinic 1 week ago. His baseline electrocardiogram showed Mobitz type II atrioventricular block and right bundle branch block. The patient's heart rate from Holter was only 32 bpm and therefore the indication for pacemaker implantation.

Catheter ablation of the His bundle is reported in a patient with drug-refractory supraventricular tachycardia meeting standard criteria of concealed WPW syndrome (conduction of the accessory atrioventricular pathway in retrograde direction only). The aim of the present study was to compare the prediction of bradyarrhythmias via the corrected sinus node recovery time and the His bundle electrogram with the findings made during long term electrocardiographic recording.
