When the disease is fatal, statistical analysis of such factors may be biased from missing observations due to deaths. In 30 male patients suffering from recurrent condylomata acuminata, immediate hypersensitivity parameters (total IgE, PTT and prick tests) and delayed hypersensitivity against seven recall antigens (multi test) were studied. OBJECTIVE: The goal of this study was to determine whether family and individual psychopathology mediate the relationship between unwanted sexual experiences and bulimic eating behavior.
METHOD: Sixty-one women diagnosed with bulimia nervosa and 92 women students and university staff who had never met critia for an eating disorder completed standardized questionnaires on eating behavior, sexual abuse, individual psychopathology, and family psychopathology.
RESULTS: Linear regression showed bulimic eating behavior to be significantly related to sexual abuse (beta = .40; p < .0001; R2 = 8.9%).

McNemar's test is often used to compare two proportions estimated from paired observations. We propose a method extending this to the case where the observations are sampled in clusters. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to learn if a deficit of finger naming (finger agnosia or anomia) is a sensitive test for Alzheimer disease (AD) and the best means of testing for finger agnosia.
METHODS: The subjects were 38 patients with AD and 10 matched normal controls. All subjects were asked to name the thumb, index, and pinky fingers.
RESULTS: No control subject had trouble naming any of these fingers, but 37% of the AD subjects did. When AD patients had difficulty with finger naming, they always had trouble naming the index finger.

We report a significantly higher prevalence of intestinal nematodes in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) compared to a matched control group: 33/57 (57.8%) in patients with TB and 18/86 (20.9%) in the control group; OR = 5.19; 95% CI = 2.33-11.69; p = 0.000).
