Twenty-five human eyes of various ages from eye bank donors and surgical enucleations were obtained for ultrastructural cytochemical demonstration of acid phosphatase (AcPase) and arylsulfatase B (ASB) in the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) and Bruch's membrane.
